On getting a job: I am scheduled to start a 2-month job this Tuesday where I will be removing staples from papers (warehousing job). I am unsure about taking the job as the commute, including walking to the bus stop near my home, will be upwards of 2.5 hours, depending on the bus routes. I don't have a drivers' license, so that puts me in a bad spot. Welcome to some reality, Instagrammer!
I'm going to say the same thing I say to YouTubers who whine about being demonetized.
It's. NOT. work!
Taking photos of yourself is not work.
Making videos of yourself talking is not work.
Making videos of yourself playing video games is not work.
Editing videos, in the context of "typical YouTuber" is not work.
She only has 100,000 something followers. That isn't that many. That in by no means is "viral" like the news always tries to pretend. They think that if something gets 3000 hits it "went viral". No, it didn't.
She's done nothing that anyone would call actual work.
There's 2 ways for her to make money:
Beg for it. "Support my Patreon!"
Have sponsors. If she has sponsors, THEY do all the work, not her.
Yes, you can make some ridiculously easy money on the internet, but the problem is, it can be there one second, completely gone the next second. I don't feel sorry for any of those who go through that because most of them aren't smart. They don't even think about it's not going to last. They don't save that money. Instead, they live the most luxurious life that they can, make videos about it, post photos about it, brag about it...and then one day - they're not so popular anymore, and it all dries up. Because they didn't save or invest. (Unless their name is Jeffree Star - he did it right.)
So, once she's done crying for donations with her sob story, she can either get a "real" job, as people call it, or she learn to think, learn to find a solution, learn to be creative, learn to come up with something new. Right now, all she's doing is whining. Whining for money is only going to work for so long.
Hmmm. There are a lot more potential ways than just the 2 you listed, and the sponsor doesn't always do all the work. And there can be a lot more to it than just the pictures and videos that you see as the end result. For those actually trying to treat it all as a business, anyways, it really is actual work.
But yes, many people should be smarter in this all and now she should figure out next steps if she wants to make this online earning work or do go get a standard job.

Yes, collaborations, not work.
Meet ups, not work.
She only had 100,000 something followers. She's not an "influencer". If she were in the millions, definitely she would be. Those who have huge followings do have teams, and they do meet with their teams, and a lot of times, it is the team who comes up with the next idea.
No, the sponsors do all the work because they are the ones who came up with the product and service, they are the ones who invested in their product or service, they are the ones who have a team to reach out to people on social media to hawk their product or service. Most people who get a sponsor will only talk about the product or service (usually from a script) for about a minute. Some, like on YouTube, do it really well by integrating the product or service into their video, showing them actually using it. Most do not do that. Instagram, taking a photo of yourself with the product is not work.
I watched her crying video. She spent $20,000 for college and has absolutely nothing to show for it, and somehow that is everyone elses fault. She has no skills. Somehow that is everyone elses fault. She claims that when she worked at McDonalds, she got in fights all the time. But that's not her fault, it's everyone elses fault for "ruining" her life. She then goes on to talk down to people by implying that she was above "the 90%", and she just can't be in the 90%. She is "nothing without" her followers. That's pathetic.
I know a lot of people don't know who Jeffree Star is, and a lot of people do. You want to see someone actually work? He did. He turned his little YouTube channel into a business. He now owns his business, employs people, makes a ridiculous amount of money each year...he actually works.
Here she admits to "putting so much money into her Instagram account". Instagram is free. The only money you would "put into" that account is bought followers:
Very dirty mouth, so if you don't want to hear a cuss word every other word, don't watch.
And finally, here's a video of a livestream with Sam Pepper and someone else, where someone is giving her a big, fat dose of reality about her money and her spending it all, before she starts fake crying about being cyberbullied:
If you wanted to be smarter find a niche and develop your own online presence, that advice is from someone with experience.
I have, as someone with experience Social media is another outlet for income, not my only.
