And yet, when Trump proposes withdrawing US troops from some of these countries and bringing them home-he is attacked by those on the left. I hope he stands up and continues his efforts to gut Obama's disastrous legacy and withdraw our troops where they have no reason to be-and no reason to die. Syria tops the list.

Not our business and not our problem. All those bases should be closed and we should stop sending money all over the world.
'Not our business, not our problem'.
We said the same thing about Nazi Germany pre-1939. We said the same thing even AFTER Europe was being taken over by the Nazi's. Eventually, we realized 'not our business, not our problem' was a pretty idiotic strategy...
I believe Trump's overarching objective is to light a fire under the butts of our allies, and get them to stop taking advantage of the US military bearing the brunt of NATO defense.
The fact is, we spend 3.5% of our GDP on defense. We ask our allies to spend at least 2%. I think that's more than fair.
There are also more US troops per capita defending the alliance, than per capita amounts of other NATO countries. For example, the US population is ~327 million, and the number of active and reserve troops totals ~ 2.1 million, yielding ~6/10ths of a percent of the total US population serving. It's about 2/10ths of a percent for both the UK and Germany, meaning more American troops lives are at risk in a major war, on a per capita basis.
You’re wrong. Those troops are used to enforce us hegemony. It’s why we have a 700 billion military budget and trump wants more to appease the warmonger republicans. These troops are suppose to “protect democracy” but they are noth8ng but forces to enforce us imperialism. So yeah, drop the us as number one crap and I’ll agree to divert some of the massive saving to build your previous wall.
“Warmonger Republicans?”
Obama had higher military budgets than Bush every single year of his term.
Obama was the first President in U.S history to be at war all 8 years of his term.
Obama had American citizens assassinated with drones.
Obama ordered the bombing of funerals and weddings.
Obama bombed Libya and is the reason there are now slave markets there.
Hillary cackled about Gaddafi being sodomized to death with a bayonet.
And it wont stop until the US imperial govt collapses.
We can expidite the pending and certain collapse by demanding more welfare and more controls on the marketplace, so keep up the good work y'all
