Who said any such thing?

But where else are known pedophiles not arrested and prosecuted and what other organizations are not punished for protecting them?

Default Who knew these were the root of pedophile priests—-

https://www.foxnews.com/world/pope-c...ls-germany.amp

Not a Catholic although I have lot of friends who are...my sister dropped her Baptist faith and converted to Catholicism when she was younger although she isn’t much of a church goer now...

I think if I were a Catholic, reading these comments by a former Pope would embarrass me greatly since they obviously show he has no clue about pedophelia in general or the co-dependency of pedophile priests and the Catholic Church...
I read no hint of any shame or responsibility for the Church’s role in protecting abusive priests which after all the turmoil and lack of Vatican insight is not surprising I guess...

I don’t understand why it wasn’t vetted and stopped pre-publication or if anyone really believes it creates any positive spin...

Well, of course...Hippies is my word.

We can call it "birth control pills" or "lack of Victorian culture" or many other words.

But he is blaming it on something that happened in the 60's even though the Church has been abusing children for 1800 years. PLUS, the "revolution" really didn't happen until the very end of the 60's, which wouldn't coincide in any way with the early and mid-60's church scandals.

Birth Control Pills also don't do anything to allow child abuse....

Lastly, the "60's enlightenment" was a REVIVAL of spiritual values..."We are all one", Alan Watts, Buddhism, Sidhartha and the like. It wasn't a rejection of God. It was a rejection of the opposite - Materialism and Consumerism....which the Catholics say they agree with! You can't have it both ways!

He could do better blaming it on a Russian Fiction Writer who millions still follow....who councils that there is no God or Spirit of any kind. You know, Ayn Rand.
She says "RELIGION CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS"....listen and learn...

In other words, he's crazy!

Not sure where you got that idea from, but it is 100% wrong, there are few different 'versions' of 'satanism' today, there are a couple that are basically atheism, and thats it, but there are a few versions of satanism that include this kind of thing, but it has nothing to do with sexual attraction, or pedophilia, its something much darker, its really about destruction of innocence, its more 'Bohemian Grove' than anything else...THAT type of satanism is extremely dangerous...these are NOT the rebellious teenagers, wearing slayer tshirts and banging their head to satanic heavy metal, its upper class, wealthy people, CEOs, judges, etc, (people with tremendous power and influence).

And this differs how from Masons and all the other sects and cults?

Where is innocence to be found in powerful people in the West?

This tells me ALOT of parents are totally fine with sending their kids to a catholic school.
That wouldn’t be the case if the US had a public education system that was on par with other first world countries.

The 60s sexual revolution permeated our culture and it permeated our seminaries. Who were the people in charge of this culture switch? Listen to this woman who made a study of it.

I have been reading Dr. Judith Reisman’s courageous research since 1989, when her explosive book, Kinsey, Sex, and Fraud, came out, exploding diehard myths about the sadomasochist pervert who spawned the Playboy Philosophy and Fake Sex Science.
Reisman has been fighting the toxic and deadly effects of Kinsey’s failed Sexual Revolution long before it was cool to do so.

She is a Research Professor at Liberty University School of Law, a scientific adviser, California Protective Parents Association, and a distinguished Senior Fellow at the Inter-American Institute, and the author of books you need to read (see below) if you want to understand why Kinsey is the father of the anti-family, anti-woman, anti-chastity chaos and destruction known as the Sexual Revolution. Sixties. What an honor to introduce her and her work to a new

"Liberty University" - you mean the place the deemed the Teletubbies as dangerous homosexuals? Wasn't the Purple Dino a threat to society also?

So 1940's research on sex by a Doctor somehow told Catholic Priests (more than other Priests and others in Society) to molest children.....even tho Catholic Priest have been doing it for 1800 years?

Janelle. Have some reason.

Based on your "reason" the Scandinavian countries, where recreational sex has always been accepted by society, would be Dens of Child Molestation...but they are not!

It's REPRESSION that causes deviancy. The Church sows its own seeds...as does a repressive society.

So, now we know you never approved of playboy, porn of nudity in movies or TV shows.

Do you think recreational sex and self-sex are both evils?

LOL the Pope needs to address the real issue the Church has been a haven for pedophiles for hundreds of years and has protected them from the law. It has no one but themselves to blame for the situation, stop passing the buck.
