Self-declared "sanctuary" cities/states clearly indicate otherwise.

Of course it is but, no one has been able to point to this specific law. I'd like to see it.

So, cite the law, chapter and verse that prevents President Trump from having migrants "dropped off" in San Francisco, or San Diego, instead of say Las Cruces. What is different, immigration law-wise among these cities.

We know Las Cruces is right there on the border, so it costs less, but what is legally different?

During the GW Bush and Obama administrations, illegals were sent to different states all over the country. Somehow, unless the practice falls under a new federal law that has recently passed, this has been SOP for many, many years.

What and where is this law? Since I see everywhere that Trump would be violating this law I have no doubt it exists. I would just like to see the law.

I think it's hard for them to get beyond the blatant hypocrisy. Mayor of Oakland said she would welcome 5,000 illegals in her city. Why not provide transportation for them to go there?

Oh, right.
Lying is a benefit of his presidency.
What makes you think he's lying? Obama sent "asylees" all over the US including all the way to Long Island. How do you think MS-13 established such a stronghold there?

Love how Trump is exposing more of the Democratic hypocrisy with this proposed move to send hundreds of thousands of low skilled welfare dependent families to their sanctuary cities.

Democrats: “We don’t want them”

Lol

Border facilities are overloaded. They can't serve any more illegals claiming asylum. The next best-case solution is to send them to sanctuary cities/states to wait several years for their asylum hearings. What's the problem with that? Sanctuary cities/states have repeatedly stated they welcome illegal aliens as assets to their communities.

Here's California Governor Newsom stating exactly so:
