Right now a politician is exempt from being sued for libel and slander.



Just spent a few minutes watching a legislator who is a candidate for president ramble on about Trump as a Manchurian Candidate, a puppet for Putin, a no good fellow traveler.


After the Mueller report, this babble is retro, but there are million of Americans sitting under their tin foil caps who want to believe.



So is this guy crying "FIRE" in a theater? Something like it.

Does he really believe what he says? Probably not.
But it is a "look at me!" Name recognition in a crowded field of candidates.


Be nice if there were no more fake news or damn lies.
