If my kid attended that school, I would pull he/she out immediately. They say it's not political, but lets not fool ourselves.

And once again, we have Democrats promoting a movement whose leaders target Israel - this time in a school in Vermont. As one student said:

As an Israeli student…I’m uncomfortable having a flag that’s anti-zionist,” Sobel said, explaining Black Lives Matter leaders have targeted Israelis. “I just want to feel welcomed.”

Really, a school should not be picking sides. The Israeli student aside, what about conservative students who support Israel? Why should they be made to feel like second-class citizens because of their political preferences?

The founders of Black Live Matter have their roots in communism.

So when the article says this...

Students will watch a video about the historical context of the flag before it’s raised for the first time. The flag will be flown for 400 days to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the start of the British slave trade in America.

... that will be indoctrination into communism.

Flying that flag is illegal. The 14th Amendment guarantees non-blacks the equal protection of the law.

If they are going to be flying a "Black Lives Matter" flag I think they should also fly one next to it "All Lives Matter" including the ones that have not been born yet... yeeouch is that too uncomfortable for the Left?

I wonder how this school in Vermont, by the way isn't that one of the whitest states in the country? maybe that is what they are getting at, that black lives matter because they want some diversity? Anyways I wonder how this school would respond if a student wore a MAGA hat for 400 days?

The "British" slave trade? Say what? The first slaves arrived unsolicited in a ship of traveling salesmen flying a Dutch flag.

Vermont is 1% black. Rutland HS has roughly 853 students. Six are black.

You have to think. Parents are at work all day. They come home from work at 6 PM. Schools have YOUR child all day. They are raising them and see them more than parents do. Crap like this needs to stop and government needs to get out of the school business.

I read somewhere that California makes it real hard for parents to homeschool. I wonder why....
