You can complain about high taxes, high prices, large numbers of homeless, illegal immigrants or whatever else you want about the blue states, but there are few indicators that are a better gauge of the well-being of the population than life expectancy. And in that category, blue states stand head-and-shoulders above the red states.
There are some red states in the Plains and Rocky Mountains that do pretty well, but they still aren't as good as the top 10 blue states.

Certainly noteworthy.
Also noteworthy is that the lowest 10 states are also the 10 highest in black population as a % and blacks on average live 4.5 years less on average than whites....white people in Mississippi for example, live longer than blacks in California. SO the Democrats in the red states have the shortest lifespan of anybody.

To be sure, demographics play a factor, but even if you look at *just* white people (according to your own link), blue states still generally come out better. Though the Plains and Rocky Mountain red states do get bumped up, relatively.

please tell us how forcibly making someone poorer leads to longevity?

This is due to the inaptly named "right to work" laws which were first introduced to control the black labor force in states like Mississippi (read up on Vance Muse for more information on that). Whites in those days were generally ok with that, getting those side deals with the boss while they knew their black neighbors and coworkers could not.
Ironically it is also now used to keep down the costs and benefits of the grandchildren of everyone, regardless of race, and everyone struggles. This has repercussions all across the state and in every aspect of life, including health and dental care.
The power to organize and the closed shop meant that in many northern cities blacks could get hired by a company (ostensibly to 'divide and conquer' the workforce) and they would get union rates, their standard of living would climb as a result of union solidarity and blacks coming to the north aligned themselves with the labor movement and the northern Democratic party as a practical matter.
Blacks remaining in the south had to struggle on under inhumane working conditions with low pay and scant benefits. You see and admit the result in your post.

The study examined over 32,000 adults who identified themselves as either Democrats, Republicans, independents, or other. They were also asked to choose between defining themselves as liberal, moderate, or conservative. The authors of the study tracked who died over the course of 15 years. They found that conservatives and moderates were six percent more likely to die during the follow-up than liberals who matched them in age, sex, and even socioeconomic status. Interestingly, however, the authors found that when comparing between party lines, there was no difference in death rates between Democrats and Republicans.
So conservatives have more money and are happier and better looking. But the liberals provoke them into earlier deaths.
