LOL. They will wait forever. There is no evidence of any crimes by the President. Just lies.

They are not lies, did you even read the Mueller report? Telling people who work for you to lie is obstruction.

That's exactly what the Democrats don't want. There is no evidence, and televised proceedings in which Representatives and Senators explain the law to the public would be a disaster for the liars in the mass media. The Left requires a monopoly on speech because everything it does is a lie.

Now the unhinged Kremlin president claims the Supreme Court will save him from impeachment. Why is he even president? He holds no basic knowledge of the Constitution.

Trump says he would ask Supreme Court to intervene if Democrats move to impeach him
Quote:
President Trump suggested Wednesday that he would ask the Supreme Court to intervene if Democrats move to impeach him — a notion that legal experts said showed a misunderstanding of the Constitution.

It was unclear how Trump would legally justify such a move, since the Constitution delegates impeachment proceedings to Congress, not the courts. Trump mentioned the idea briefly in morning tweets in which he lashed out at Democrats who are continuing to investigate him following the release of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s report.

There is indeed evidence of lies, lots of them. Interesting that you would be bringing that up.

There is also a lot of evidence supporting obstruction of justice. You may be surprised to learn that this is a crime.

Trump and his minions are working hard to keep things under wraps.

So did Nixon.

IIRC, the House hearings lasted about a year after the Jaworski report.

It wasn't until the Supreme Court weighed in on the matter that Nixon turned over the unredacted tapes. It was all downhill from there.

If there is no evidence why is Barr suppressing the underlying evidence that Congress has the right to see? There is evidence including testimony from Trump aides. That's why Trump doesn't want any of his aides including McGahn to testify. It's detailed in the Mueller report. The Fake Fox News talking point is now claiming no evidence. Schiff and Nadler are not only pressing for the underlying evidence, but they are also launching more investigations since Mueller's scope was limited and narrow. Trump is in bed with the Kremlin. It's the end of the beginning.

Nixon was covering up a crime...…..huge difference.

A very good article on this fiasco from Matt Taibbi at the Rolling Stone. Here are the concluding sentences:
The Press Will Learn Nothing From the Russiagate Fiasco

This fiasco will surely end up being a net plus for Trump. The obstruction parts of the report make him look like a brainless goon and thug, but the absence of what Mueller repeatedly calls “underlying crime” make his ravings about an elitist mob out to get him look justified. This is not an easy thing to achieve, but we’re there, and the press is a big part of that picture.

News audiences were betrayed, and sooner or later, even the most virulently Trump-despising demographics will realize it and tune us out. The only way to reverse the damage is to own how big of a screw-up this was, but after the last three years, who would hold their breath waiting for that?

Hopefully they involve the last admin....since they told their IT staff to stand down, when they knew Russia was trying to get in...don't you agree?

No, it's not, in 99.99% of circumstances. There is no allegation that he told anyone to lie to the investigators, so it's not obstruction.
