In early 2018, the press reported that the president had directed McGahn to have the special counsel removed in June 2017 and that McGahn had threatened to resign rather than carry out the order. The president reacted to the news stories by directing White House officials to tell McGahn to dispute the story and to create a record stating he had not been ordered to have the special counsel removed. McGahn told those officials that the media reports were accurate in stating that the president had directed McGahn to have the special counsel removed. The president then met with McGahn in the Oval Office and again pressured him to deny the reports. In the same meeting, the president also asked McGahn why he had told the special counsel about the president’s effort to remove the special counsel and why McGahn took notes of his conversation with the president. McGahn refused to back away from what he remembered happening and perceived the president to be testing his mettle. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/18/u...gtype=Homepage
Basically, Democrats want another investigation into the 2-3 year FBI investigation until they get the outcome they want. Much like when Democrats lose an election (let’s do a do-over and or change the rules ) lmao
If Democrats were smart, they would just accept the report that Trump beat Hillary fair and square, and move on. Pass some policies that will improve American lives.

McGahan was TRUMP'S lawyer. He couldn't fire Muelker.
Congress recreating this investigation will actually be a good thing. Repubs can recapture the House by rightfully pointing out the Demwits have accomplished nothing in two years. Trump will campaign for Repub candidates in 2020 and we know how that will turn out.
Notice it says the redaction is due to "harm to an ongoing matter."
Which means an ongoing criminal prosecution related to WikiLeaks.
