Socialism cannot co-exist in a Republic. It's one or the other.
Socialism? Where?

It sure doesn't seem that way. It's quite telling that the most sane person in the Democrat party to run for President is still Hillary Clinton.

Bill & Hillary's "new democrats" have certainly decimated the party in the last 2 decades.

I see.
If need be.
Pilosi knows more about the House than anyone else, and there are many different ways a member can be disciplined.

Right now, she can easily allow quite a lot of dissent among her caucus. But if there comes a time when the arguing stops and the voting begins in the House, her caucus will follow her.

Just as the Republican senators fall in line behind McConnell in the Senate. They are both excellent tacticians.

(where's Nancy Pelosi? isn't she in charge of the Democrat caucus?)

Where do I pick up the secret decoder ring that transforms a post that didn't even mention 'Trump' into a post that is about Trump? Can I get one on Amazon????

The Dems have painted themselves into a corner. Investing so much into identity politics to where a heterosexual white man running for office is "troubling and problematic." It is entertaining though.

I continue to shout from the rooftops that my former party, the Democratic party, has got to drop the ID politics. They lost me with the recent spate of anti-Semitism, which resulted, as you say, from having painted themselves into a corner. Or another way of putting it: they got themselves into a real zungzwang:

I was looking forward to seeing two old white guys running against each other for POTUS. Just like old times.
The fact is, two old white guys are the best we have to choose from. Young, stupid, female, black, gay and crazy sums up the others to pretty much cover all of the dems. The stupid and crazy is there for all. AOC is all in for crazy and stupid with a little racism to sweeten the deal.

She said she didn't want the "good old days of Obama and his VP, that's going backward" after saying "there are so many reasons to impeach Trump" and not being able to come up with a single one. like, OMG, gag me with a spoon

When a person believes that 3 years ago are "the good old days" you know you're chatting with a child.
