Could be other issues, like electrical, but my bet is on construction / construction materials.

Its a great shame either way. They say the cold water on hot stones can cause more damage, but they are taking that risk.

I bet you are that guy at a crowded party who stands alone on the corner mad at everyone else and wondering why he's being avoided.

This is how climate change works !!!
It had to come down one way or another to become green and be in compliance with the Paris accord.

I haven't ruled it out, nor has any post I've seen.

It's fairly easy to jump to conclusions however some conclusions can be made from the obvious.
No conclusions can be made at this point other than it's a horrible loss.

It's saddening to see this happen.
What's truly saddening is to see how your ignorant orange idiot god shot off his foolish mouth about how to solve yet another problem that he knows nothing about, thus making certain that he is now a part of the story. That's what people are commenting on.

Try to keep up.

Just remember, no matter how bad you are at your job, you'll never be burn-down-an-800yr-old cathedral bad

I agree with you on this. People are reporting rumors from workers at the cathedral, and yes, we have some old news articles from failed attempts in the past...but there was also construction going on.

It could be either, at this point.

No matter what, it's gone. Someone, regardless of how it started, needs to pay for this, and they better damn well find out exactly what happened, tell the truth, and make them pay.

I'm done with sad right now...I'm pi$$ed. This is an historic building, and it's gone.
