I think this is not something to get all excited about. One radical librarian does not make a movement. I would argue for diverse voices to be included in any library. But not exclusion of white voices. It would be just as wrong to exclude white voices as it is to exclude black voices. There is wisdom and artistry in all races, all the various groups of humans. We should not exclude any, but should strive to be inclusive of all.
In my experience, there are sometimes extreme opinions expressed about many social movements, but usually the pendulum swings back to a moderate, though perhaps reset reality.

I would argue for the inclusion of books judged to have merit, based on criteria other than the race or sex of the author.
