Tourism is San Fransiso's largest industry. You would think they would want to do everything possible to make the city look successful and vibrant. Who wants to take a tour in a 3rd world city where people are crapping in the streets? Pretty soon, poop removal and processing will take over as their dominant industry.
Wrong. Trump is doing nothing to solve homelessness in California or anywhere else.
To help solve homelessness in San Francisco, Trump would have to silence the Nimby's on the Hills, who won't allow any building higher than 3 stories to mar their views of the San Francisco Bay! And then let's go across the Bay and silence the Nimby's in Berkeley and Oakland, and go south and silence the Nimby's in the South Bay area. And then let's move south to Santa Monica, which hasn't allowed any new skyscraper in that city since 1970.
72% of L.A. is still zoned for single family homes, and in Minneapolis they just banned zoning for single family homes.
Get the picture? Silence the Nimby's and the CA Coastal Commission, which won't any high rise to be built along the CA shorelines, and see the cranes arise all over CA!

I recommend that the homeless start attending city council development meetings, find out who are opposed to low-income housing and homeless shelters in their neighborhoods, and use their door steps for sleeping at night. Let them stumble over you as they leave for work.

Getting pricked by syringes is also culturally enriching, how could anyone not love that?
