So she was loony tunes and made threats and they had to follow up on them. I am waiting to hear about her history.
It appears to be a sad case of a mentally unstable person. If she were really intent on some kind of mass shooting, I am grateful she did not carry it out. I feel bad for her with what little we know. No way should she have been able to walk into a gun store, purchase a gun and ammo and walk out the same day.

I might be wrong, but I believe in Colorado you can buy a rifle (long gun) without being a resident; just need to be 18 and a valid ID. Background check, too, of course.
