I think that if the libs are so concerned with these folks.. they should adopt a family in Mexico and send them money each month. Their life will be better and they can stay in their country until they can legally immigrate.
No. The reason it is a crisis is that due to the dems obstructing deporting them, word has gone out that if you have a child with you, they will process you and release you. In the 90's and up until the last few yrs most illegal aliens were single men. Now it is people with children.

Not only that but these asylum seekers are supposed to seek refuge in the first safe country and if they don't that automatically disqualifies them for trying to claim asylum in ours whether or not they do it from a legal port of entry. Mexico offered them asylum along with jobs. They have no claims here.
He's supposed to be an American, and immigration is bad for America. Why would an immigrant background be relevant? Immigrants are supposed to take the side of their fellow Americans over 7 billion foreigners.

You're not seriously saying that immigration is bad for America, are you? Basically, presumably over 99% of Americans are descendants of immigrants. And, to be obvious, in theory one's background in any area should make one a little sympathetic.

Then the appropriate legal process will establish that. Not you or me. I live 40 miles from the border and we feel the effects huge here. Every public facility in town is full of refugee applicants and the BP bring more every day. It's a crisis.
And it will continue to be until we secure our border and stop allowing them into this nation-until AFTER their claims are heard and status determined. It's possible a small percentage might have some legitimate claim, but the vast majority are here for handouts. And as you are seeing-we are NOT securing them in detention facilities awaiting hearings-our left-wing judges and legislators have seen to that. As such, they are turned loose with a piece of paper telling them to return for a hearing-which happens about as often as being struck by lightning.
