He should do what he's been doing all along. Working for The People and getting things done. Immigration is #1.
He has worked hard in spite of the attacks, false accusations, constant belittling, and has accomplished much in spite of that.
The immigration issue is one that will take more time due to the Socialist Democrats needing the illegals during this 2020 campaign and election.
The Dems could't give a s*i* less about illegals, immigrants or any other groups, they just use them and abuse them to serve their purpose and with an election coming up in 2020 we know they are not going to cooperate with the Trump admin to protect Americans.
If I'd seen this first I could have just quoted it and not post another word.
I would just change it to "Go around stomping on anti Americans like they were so many ants."

The image of the POTUS "stomping on his enemies like ants," holding the taxpayers hostage for his pet wall by shutting down the FAA and/or the federal government, investigating his political opponents, ... probably appeals to Putin's people, but most Americans take a dim view of this.
It's in our DNA. Many of our families came to this country to get away from such shenanigans.
The title of this thread is a lie. The dark cloud has not been lifted off his presidency, nor off this nation.
I predict dark and overcast for the next two years or six years. Trump will get nothing done but probably get elected again and continue his "poor me" and name calling tweets. He will always look back at his time in the White House as his most unhappiest years. It is his punishment.
When Trump either ignored, or welcomed the Russian element in his campaign he opened the door for scrutiny. If the police comes into your house because they think you are a drug dealer but find out instead you are a thief tough luck. The investigation showed the Russians were doing fine with any assistance from the President. But what the investigation also showed is that he is a liar and he instructs people around him to lie for him and he attempted to obstruct justice. Going forward that's what foreign and domestic stakeholders have to work with in the president.
Trump's learning the hard way that politics isn't business. You cant just bring fixers after the fact. You put up a squeaky clean facade on the front end to keep scrutiny at arms length. Kinda like what Pence does. So enjoy your dark years Mr. Trump.
We all know about the Dirty Dossier and how this began the entire "Russian Collusion", but Mueller didn't investigate the Dirty Dossier - Why not??
And then there are the FISA warrants on Carter Page, and yet while they got 4 FISA warrants based on Carter Page - he was never charged with anything. How did it all begin? Who began it and why? Were there any LIES in the FISA applications and if so - who LIED? Those are felonies, LIES to a Court.
President Trump needs to finish the Investigation - even Bob Woodward sees that.

My favorite memory of how well Obama was treated was when that Republican stood up in the middle of Obama's State of the Union speech and called him a liar.
Then there was the two year Benghazi investigation that even Gowdy admitted they all knew what happened from the get go. It was just a partisan attempt to smear Clinton and undermine Obama's administration.
Those were the days, weren't they?
