Unless Ms. Tlaib's family came here illegally, who does she think she is? She is essentially spitting in the faces of all of the people who took the necessary steps and waited the necessary time to immigrate here legally, likely including her own family.

Yes, you are correct but there is more to the story. That's just one piece on the chest board.

The democrats platform can be summed up by stating : If its legal its immoral. If its immoral it needs to be legal.

What the democrats are offering is a contradiction signifying nothing but a quest for power.

This hunger strike is a tactic to get attention and cry for help. To help them gain the power they seek. They want to be seen as starving victims and how cruel will it be to criticize a starving victim. Any criticism of the issue ( ICE ) will be addressed as an attack on the starving victim in order to shut down and silence debate on the issue.

The democrats seek compliance. You must obey or you're a bad person. You are either with them or you are immoral.

Notice how it becomes circular. You are now immoral so you must be legal ( legal citizen ). Only illegals crossing the border are moral. Only their reasons are just.

In the end what it all boils down to is you first must prove you are moral, and can only do that by agreeing with the democrat position. This has to happen before there can be any conversation or debate on the issue. Then everyone is in agreement and the problem is solved. Democrats are all about solving problems.
