we had the black invasion of new york, the prohibition, etc. we had white flight and now we have gentrification. at which point do you think we will have a reversal once again?
reversals usually happen when everyone thinks they wont. so, will the internet kill it?
The green new deal and other environmentally friendly measures being taken will be the next thing to change course for the city. The city in itself is what was supposed to be an environmentally friendly and cost effective concept. But because of silly politicians, we'll all be moving to the suburbs to commute to the exurbs for work. The city will be left behind because it will be unaffordable to adjust to political demands that will roil the purpose of why we live in cities in the first place.
There will definitely be slavery again. But it doesn't have to be a specific race.
The ancient empires were all built on slavery: Egypt, Rome, Greece,
Then there is modern-day slavery: German Jews during the Holocaust, Germans in the Soviet Union, today's Chinese concentration camps for their Muslim minority populations, etc.
This is not to mention today's sex slaves and human trafficking that are so rampant today.
Things don’t happen twice, well Atleast not in the same way
Reversal? Highly unlikely, urbanization has just begun
