Hello Mr. Brennan, may I introduce you to Mr. Barr?
Direct quotes from his own text messages, revealed yesterday.
December 2016 (Sister agency refers to CIA)
“Our sisters have begun leaking like mad....They’re kicking it into overdrive.”
“Think our sisters have begun leaking like mad. Scorned and worried and political, they’re kicking in to overdrive.”
April 2017 (this is about Strzok complaining that the CIA was involved in Trump-Russia much earlier than he thought)
“I’m beginning to think the agency got info a lot earlier than we thought and hasn’t shared it completely with us,” Strzok said. “Might explain all these weird / seemingly incorrect leads all these media folks have. Would also highlight agency as source of some of the leaks.”
The CIA is sworn to protect America from all enemies both foreign and domestic.
The current occupant of the WH is the greatest domestic threat to our system that we have faced in a long time.
Someone defending our agencies abusing their power because they don’t like the other candidate. In reality, they tried to frame and remove Trump using evidence they planted and knew was false from the beginning. Tough to defend that no matter how much you despise the president

100% wrong. No one attempted to frame anyone.
There was legit concern that the POTUS was a Russian asset. Still is to some extent.
I’m thankful the CIA was on the ball in protecting us from negative influence by our foreign enemies.

The CIA (Brennan) knew he wasn't. They are the ones who set the entire lie up. If they truly thought he was they wouldn't have had to resort to setups and entrapment, they would have been able to get him trying to contact real Russians on his own, not CIA assets contacting him.

That's ludicrous, but suppose it were true. The CIA would still have to follow the law. And disobeying the President or being disloyal to the President or investigating the president would make the CIA itself a domestic enemy of the United States.

No, there wasn't. It was all a pretext to spy on the campaign to see whether they could find something genuine. The texts of Strzok, Page, and Ohr make it clear that they are not investigating alleged or imagined wrongdoing. They are conducting a fishing expedition to find something to be used against Trump.
The real question is why did this take years to be revealed? Can you say obstruction boys and girls? I know you can.
It didn't.
That text was from the same batch as all the others. What is happening is people reporting on individual lines instead of the entire text because the narrative is easier to shape.
Again these are the same text that the entire Republican congress has seen and didn't care about. They will only care if Fox News picks it up and runs with it. Changes nothing other than filling a 24 hour news cycle with information. Its a slow news day and 24 hours is a long time to report on nothing.
