Because reality -- for 99 per cent of the people today it was about the basket and the eggs.
Could you provide a link for that statistic, because the entire congregation at our church and largely in the church congregations in my city were celebrating that “He is risen, risen indeed!” Sure, the little ones hunted eggs and ate candy too, part of the fun. But, they too were learning about the Ressurection of Christ. It was a joyous day in my extended family and my church family.

And you represent what portion of the greater population.
Yeah I get it - been there done that. Lots of folks manage to get to church at Easter -- it is part of the basket and bunnies thing.......
but the basket and the bunny is the most important.
If you are looking to Google for your religious experience -- than you needed church today.

What portion do I represent? I’m not certain of that statistic, but I’m guessing a fairly large portion of the USA believes in Christian principles and believe in the Resurrection of Christ, do you doubt that?

IF YOU NEEDED GOOGLE TO RECOGNIZE YOUR RELIGIOUS/SPIRITUAL RELATIONSHIP WITH EASTER -- you have lost your way.
Look all kidding aside -- if you need to have Google, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat or Instagram recognize a deep, spiritual holiday -- it is a clear sign you are losing focus on your religion;
God Bless you and hope you find peace -- but don't look for it on social media.

Go back to church tomorrow.
Haha... I’m going to ignore your insult, as I didn’t need anything from google, I was simply pointing out their inconsistency.
And I figured you couldn’t/wouldn’t answer my question about the significance of American Christians who believe in The Resurrection, as you wrote it off Easter ridiculously as “99% only see bunnies, eggs and chocolates”.
