Remember the Zika virus? If they knew that’s how their baby would end up, why would anyone want a life like that? Seems more i humane to not stop it. And Im not sure how well the disease can be detected early on but lets say it can be detected early on in the pregnancy, would it be more humane to not have that baby?

Can you not see that they don’t believe that the abortion impacts the baby that would have been born if they had not decided to have an abortion?
No one knows that for sure.

How many pregnancies that were terminated early would have gone on only to end up as a miscarriage or with a nonviable fetus?

I don't know the answer to you last question. I suspect it is an exceptionally small number.
Depending on the state but they must be licensed and certified. Pregnancy past 24 weeks requires a physician. In some states two.

"Babies" are infants who have already been born. So no, abortion doesn't kill babies. It removes the potential for a zygote or fetus to become a baby.

How is this for "my body, my choice"?

HOW is it anything but the result medical incompetence? We hear stories all the time of surgeons operating on the wrong limb, etc.. Do you blame the patients for those mistakes because they chose to have the surgery?

.......and much more likely to happen during an illegal, unregulated abortion but I don't think that is what the OP was going for.

Not in NY with regard to requiring a physician after 24 weeks. Just an abortion provider. And it will spread of course.

There is belief, and there is truth.

Imagine if women were actually re-taught to respect life. Truth.

The new law will allow a licensed "health-care practitioner" acting under their scope of practice to perform an abortion when:

"According to the practitioner's reasonable and good faith professional judgment based on the facts of the patient's case: the patient is within twenty-four weeks from the commencement of pregnancy, or there is an absence of fetal viability, or the abortion is necessary to protect the patient's life or health."
