False. Find me the evidence to support that .

My mistake...Those figures are emissions per person...

Yes I did and the first few results definitely show that China has surpassed the US although you might be right about India for now

If some of these folks are so sure of themselves then perhaps they should spend their time instead writing letters to the following scientific organizations whom recognize global warming as a threat.

That's easy. It wasn't cooling for 5,000 years. There were cool periods, as well as warm periods, the same natural variation we see today.

That graph uses temperatures from the top of the Greenland ice sheet. This data ends in 1855, long before modern global warming began. It also reflects regional Greenland warming, not global warming.

Perhaps you are unaware, but Jo Nova's blog is a known dissembler venue. And not credible.

Same can be said of this blog site, a true climate deniers source. Not credible in the least.

Rednecks? Some of us here are well educated free-thinking folks who look beyond govt. funded research and understand that there are natural cycles to everything. And get your fear mongering terminology right - it's climate change now not global warming because it's getting cooler not warmer.

Indeed- in the catch all "climate change" one can point to both warming and cooling as a result of CO2. Dead polar bears (even though there are more now than in 1983), droughts (even though the planet is greener), violent storms (even though there are far fewer), and rapidly rising oceans (even though Al Gore recently purchased ocean front property).

AGW is the ultimate dance of the beguiled; the propagandists play a different tune and the adoring throngs dance to it, regardless of the content of the message.

AGW invites us to vacate skepticism, reason, and common sense to embrace the theory in order to "save the planet". Who would not want to do that? And in that noble pursuit, one can cut a few corners and sacrifice a few little things like the scientific method in order to achieve those lofty goals.

for all you global warming / climate change folks out there - here's something to consider as you take all these govt. funded and special interest funded climate change reports as gospel:

how is the economy where you are? how are govt. workers getting treated with respect to pensions and benefits in comparison to you? are you being told everything is o.k. or that they need to raise your taxes for one reason or another? what's happened to the cost of food and utilities where you live? the point is: you are being controlled by those who have something to benefit from making you believe one thing or another. embracing climate change is the holy grail of tax revenue and population control to govts. - that and a cashless society where they can tax you at will. do your own research and come to your own conclusions and look for alternative sources of information and always ask "why". question everything. take the red pill - seriously.
