Not trustworthy? I guess Republicans are? Democrats aren’t traitors. Democrats don’t have a pipeline to Putin. Anyone to suggest our fellow Americans aren’t trustworthy has a big problem...

It was a comedy show watching clips of Pompeo lie on all the morning shows Sunday. Pompeo looked just as robotic as the first lady in his response to every question. This administration thinks most Americans believe them when they can't even get their story/reasoning for the timing of the attack together. They have lied about North Korea, China, Russia, Ukraine etc. The list can go on for days. Yet they want people to believe them now. Most of the administration is "acting". Anyone with credibility and integrity including military leaders have jumped off the sinking ship for good reason.

Time to wake up little snoozy. The self-serving US imperial govt lies constantly and it makes not one scintilla of difference if its a R or a D admin. They both do it.

Eh....I dunno about that. I don't think there's any low they wouldn't sink to if they thought it would help them gain political power. For all their flaws, Republicans tend to at least be loyal to the US and they don't mourn the death of terrorists. My arguements with Republicans are usually policy based, with Democrats it's policy and the fact that they hate the country.

Imo one is worse than the other

Not true. 99% of Iranians are one religion. And virtually ALL of the practitioners of that religion believe that sharia is the revealed world of God. The policy and punishment for apostasy is believed and held to be true by the vast majority of Iranians. We are dealing with a savage oppressive regime that seeks to export it’s insanity and immorality to the rest of the world. So threatening their buildings is the least we can do.

At this point, if they engage in any large scale act to export their insanity to the rest of the world, including blocking the flow of oil to the free world, it’s time to put a permanent stop to it. And that means military action.

Trump insinuated, via tweet ( ), that he would be open to bombing Iranian historical sites.

That would VERY MUCH make him a terrorist and just like the Nazis, not to mention break multiple Geneva Convention laws.

I'm sure there isn't a single Trump supporter here who would DARE defend Trump on destroying historical, cultural sites.

No it’s not. Conducting Christian church services is illegal in Iran. Punishable by imprisonment.

Also pointing out that we are in bed with Saudi Arabia is irrelevant. We should get out of that bed also, but Saudi Arabia is not exporting it’s horrific mysticism to the rest of the world in the same manner as Iran.

If Iran continues to export it’s evil to the rest of the world, or attempts to block the flow of oil to the rest of the world, or commits other offenses against the civilized world including terrorism, cyber terrorism, etc., then we should be destroying all their buildings, not just the cultural ones. How does that grab you?

If you attack cultural or religious sites, you will enable decades of recruiting extremists by terrorist organizations and your children and grandchildren will be affected. It is the stupidest thing America can do at this time.

Actually, Wahhabism, which Islamic fundamentalism is based from, originated and is being propagated around the world from Saudi Arabia. Clearly, you know very little about the middle East.
