Did anyone specifically say that you, lionking, voted for Trump for racist reasons?
Are there people who voted for Trump for racist reasons? Yes.
Are there people who voted for Trump for non racist reasons? Yes.
Read: 'significant number' does not mean 'all'.
Significant paints "most". I say, only a minority of Trump voters are. It goes again to making excuses for loosing a election.
The same how those that want illegal immigration curbed are painted as racist because we don't want brown people coming over. Then they say also "anti immigration" painting it as if we don't want any immigrants coming over.
And proof is right here in this thread where just by reading the biased and stereotyped passages the author wrote many say in the thread " well it's true what's the problem with what she wrote" so they have NO issue with kids being taught this in school.
What if a hard right winger wrote a text book saying Obama is associated with black hate groups and black supremacists all came out to vote for him" and was put out in the school system?. Well you know black supremacists did come out to vote for him is that any control of Obama? No it's not.
Reread the passages. The book describes the sentiment and the concerns in some segments of the population. The author does not in any way (in the selected passages in that article) refer to Trump as mentally ill or state that they (the author) have some sort of belief in or evidence of Trump's mental illness.
This is why reading comprehension should be given more attention in schools.
Then it should provide statistics rather than use ambiguous terms like some and many. It is a textbook after all and not an opinion piece.
Republicans claim to be the party of small government yet they continue to try to control American's lives through abortion policy, the failed war on drugs, gay marriage, the military, , the war on Christmas, etc.
THAT I will agree with which goes to the "anti establishment" part of the text. I have always voted Republican but became angered over how the establishment Republicans were often hypocrites. Is why I voted for Trump he was outside the box and shook fear into the established left and right.
Have I agreed with him on everything? No but it was worth a chance. BUT NOW the left have gone even more extreme left since he won , seems they haven't learned the lesson that most people don't want extreme left or right.

C'mon, be real. Black supremacists have never had control of this country. White supremacists have. It stands that most of us are more worried about the latter.
If right wingers are so worried about illegal immigration, then tackle the bigger issue: overstayed visas. There has been NO talk on cracking down on overstayed visas, but we constantly hear about this caravan. We also know a wall will do little when the cartels have built tunnels and are able to sneak in through ports of entry. The drugs and weapons will still enter the country. $5B for a wall is a waste of money for something that will be largely ineffective. It's a bad idea.
Significant does not mean most. Just because you want to read it that way doesn't make it true. Trump did pander to a racist element of the right.
That's seriously some of the dumbest crap I've read. And clearly some of you folks should have paid more attention in school because the low levels of intelligence I've seen on here is pretty depressing. So- do you believe in chem trails and that the moon landing was a hoax too?
uh no, but Im pretty sure govt day prison has been a verifiable failure. Ill bet your mother was a great warden.
The "issue" is that the charge of "racism" is bandied about recklessly in the Current Year. The very definition of "racism" has been stretched to encompass anything and everything that doesn't match current SJW ideology and DNC policies. And it's a one way street. How much media coverage has Obama gotten for his meeting with noted racist and anti-semite Louis Farrakhan?
