I am NOT INTERESTED in bashing Muslims. But this Saudi government used barbaric beheadings in order to strengthen its hold on power. In the past strong US disapproval might have moderated their behavior, but under Trump’s weak leadership, they are free to execute/murder fellow Muslim believers.

I hope, at the very least, this barbaric behavior makes Saudi Arabia a pariah among nations. However because of widespread dependence on oil, probably they will be given a pass.

This is capital punishment without the moderation of law. It is the extension of a government’s existential struggle. How frightened they must be of losing power, to murder their own citizens because they are a religious minority.

How shameful.

Trump and Kushner benefit greatly by cozying up to the Saudis and looking the other way.

Looks like they are doing better under President Trump.

“Capital punishment is a legal penalty in Saudi Arabia. The country performed at least 158 executions in 2015,[1] at least 154 executions in 2016,[2] and at least 146 executions in 2017.[3]“ By 2024 President Trump may have it down to 100 or so.

Sunni and Shia have been killing each other for 1400 years, they going to stop now
As far as Trump supporting them, he's doing nothing different than Obama, Bush and Clinton before him. At least Trump is more peaceful than Bush in Iraq, and Obama in Libya/Syria, Where hundreds of thousands of civilians died and millions left homeless. It is nice having a more peaceful president for once. Trump "making America great and the world more peaceful"

I always wondered how the Left brain can't grasp that we now have a much more peaceful President now On the other hand they actually think Obama deserved a peace prize. Next thing you know Obama will be meeting with Louis Farrakhan to discuss how to improve white/black and Jewish/black relationships!

Clearly this has nothing to do with any US president.

The OP said this.

I don’t think it does either since it’s an internal issue. At best, such events would receive condemnation but nothing else.

For your education, the eternal fountain of Saudi money flows into Silicon Valley financing countless startups.

Nothing much different between Uber or Lyft and blood diamonds really. Uber taking 3.5 billion and allocating a Saudi seat on its board and two more seats allocated via SoftBank's Vision Fund to which Saudis have financed to the tune of 45 billion

But go to your anti-Trump anti-Saudi rally, maybe you can Uber home
