When you don't hold up your end (by committing a crime and depriving someone else of their rights), as far as I'm concerned the deal is off, society no longer has to hold up its end.

I have little doubt that more pot sellers tend to vote Democratic. I also have little doubt that people like Jeff Sessions love to make "felons" out of pot sellers and growers.
This is the old "conservative" trick. They don't want people to vote.
For whatever, reason, a recent ballot measure restoring felon voting right in Florida passed by a LARGE majority - 65% - which changed the Florida Constitution. As we speak the GOP Government is meeting trying to roll it back...so it must be that they lean the "wrong" way.
Jim Crow rides again in Florida. Even with a super-majority and constitutional change, they won't accept it. What they are trying to do is delay it for ONE more election because Florida could easily be won or lost by a few votes.
Shame on them. Even when the Constitution is changed, they go against the will of the people....
The article states they’re registered Democrats but the last thing they’re worried about is voting, lol. Most typically are committing the same crime after release, ending right back in prison.
No wonder Bernie and the Dems want felons to now have voting rights!
And no wonder GOP wants to suppress peoples right to vote.
