The president’s tweets come after several Mexican military personnel reportedly questioned U.S Army soldiers who were on patrol duty near the border in Texas. Mexican soldiers reportedly pointed their weapons at U.S. troops during the encounter. The Mexican soldiers reportedly believed that the U.S. Army soldiers were on Mexican territory.
are we going to have to start providing Mexican military with GPS units so they stop getting confused as to which side of the border they're on?

This is a very good argument for the wall. If neither Mexican soldiers or American soldiers can tell which side of the border they are on and may have confrontations with one another because of that it's a very good reason to have a wall dividing our two countries so that there is no confusion.

Trump tweet: sending armed troops to Mexico border
I guess they forgot to tell Trump those US troops were armed, and then disarmed by the Mexicans, much like when the Iranians disarmed the US sailors.

The biggest difference in this case is that it was the Mexicans who were on the wrong side of the border thinking they were on the right side.

they were actually south of an existing border wall, which is why the Mexicans thought they were on the wrong side. but the wall and the border don't exactly correspond.

Actually the wall was the main source of the confusion.

Oh lovely. A war would be a nice diversion from Trump's legal and corruption problems. Who said he's not a warmonger?

Trump's enemies are poverty stricken Central Americans and Mexicans. Trump's buddies are a Dictators' Delight - Putin, MBS, Kim Jong Un, Duterte. This guy is a disgrace to the country. We should just change the name of the country to America and forget the United States part---this man is not representing the US.

Pathetic, pathetic man.
