With 20 candidates to choose from, I'm thinking the eventual nominee will be the one most likely to defeat Trump. That's a very big field to choose from.

Clinton faced a similarly big field in 2016. And the Republicans eventually weeded out all those who could not defeat her.

Are you on meth like folks in the rust belt. Trump won 306 electoral votes while Hillary won 227 or 223.truml crushed Hillary in the electoral college. Hillary lost thr rust belt. Democrat strongholds like west Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin voted trump. Both trump and Hillary were horrible candidates in my book.
