April 2018 a defendant Perez was arrested for drug charges. Defence attorney has sidebar with judge and prosecutor stating ICE is in the courthouse to arrest his client once done in court. Judge and prosecutor continue case and allow Perez down backstairs and released in public.
With any luck, the judge and prosecutor will be convicted and disbarred.
if you don't like that federal law, change the law."
Until that happens, Lelling said, prosecutors and federal agents will enforce the law.
"And as a corollary to that, if you obstruct what they're doing, you're committing a federal crime because you are obstructing enforcement of a federal law," he said. "And in an environment as politicized as this one, it seems to me people need to be reminded about this sometimes."
Awesome. Truly awesome. Judges are not above the law and be held accountable for their actions. The best way to deal with many of these immigration issues is to hold those who enable them legally accountable.

This will be all over liberal media and in the news cycle for months.
Perhaps I'm being to optimistic.
It is past time to make an example out of the lawlessness around this issue.
Do the crime, do the time !!!
If it is all over the media we’ll only hear about how the “undocumented worker” is a father of six (cue up picture of small children and unemployed, illegal baby mama) and has no history of violence. Never mind the drug possession, the being wanted in another state, the possible identity theft. Cut to talking head who says he came here for a better life and the judge was just trying to be humane.
Imagine what they’d do if he was a legal citizen of this country and the US Marshall came to take him into federal custody for being a fugitive. What are the chances a legal citizen would get to leave from the back door to avoid arrest? Why do we accept that non-citizens get extra special rights over US citizens? It happens every freaking day too.
The ICE agent was barred from entering the courtroom, the recording device in the courtroom was turned off and the illegal alien was ushered out the back door. There are so many violations that happened here and I hope they make an example of this judge.
The guy was there to answer for a drunk driving charge. If the average citizen was before the court on the same charge how much leniency would be granted to them? This is a a major problem in our country today where illegal aliens are allowed to operate under a different set of laws then citizens.
This has to stop.
