“A Tennessee man charged by New York prosecutors with pretending to be a Manhattan lawyer and taking thousands from would-be clients was the co-founder of Students for Trump, a national group that mobilized college campuses in the run-up to the 2016 election and plans to do so again in 2020.”

yeah, never mind that ANYTIME money is involved, there are people that will take advantage of the situation. political affiliation makes no difference. i would bet that if one were to scour the news stories, you would find that fraud like that is rife on both sides of the isle. the only difference here is that trumps name was offered up.
Co-Founder of “Students for Trump” Group Charged with Committing Fraud
Actually, this is why the IRS was scrutinizing all of those right wing PACs and fundraising operations with a special team, they were suddenly flooded with applications. A lot of them were scams.
There is actually no requirement as to how a PAC spends it's money, no oversight, and some "for Trump" PACs paid their entire collection as a salary to the founder. People were falling for it.
Scam artists are drawn like flies to opportunities like that. This is just one example of the kind of people who were bilking the public.

sigh. you just say stuff and walk away don't you?
the whole Obama IRS attacking conservative 501Cs was LONG BEFORE Trump was running for president. in fact it was in the lead up to Obamas run for re-election.
good doG this thread is just further proof that the left has gone plentyinsane
A guy that has no connection to Donald Trump has some connection to some organization named "trump" and the left falls all over itself to blame Donald Trump for it.
you guys need to go find a psychiatrist because you've gone stone cold crazy.
