She scares the Hell out of the Right. She is smart, has guts, and will not take any **** from anyone. I love her, she is going to be someone to watch in future years. I see her becoming a leader in the Democratic party real soon.

Yet another bizarre AOC thread. Checks all the boxes though:
1.) Conspiracy theory materializing out of thin air that she is some sort of actress planted in that position (no evidence, and ignoring the actual story of how she entered and won the campaign)
2.) Pages and pages of people who think she is stupid while they themselves sound like third graders (the irony! she is demonstrably more educated and accomplished than the CD population)
3.) Not a single mention of an actual, specific policy idea and why it couldnt be made to work (because of course they do work in the rest of the modern western world)
Carry on folks, nothing to see here, just the glaring failures of American voters and ample evidence that it can't be fixed.
The reason the Republican Party talks so much about her, is because they want to infer that she represents the Democratic Party. Or put simply, if you vote Democrat, you are voting for AOC.
If AOC is naive and ignorant, then the Democratic Party is naive and ignorant. Plus her anti-capitalist and anti-market rhetoric will likely deter many corporate donors from giving money to her party. Which is why Nancy Pelosi makes sure to remind the people who matter that AOC has no power in the Democratic Caucus. Although Pelosi tries to say it softly because AOC is the democratic base, and she doesn't want to alienate those voters/donors either.
Case in point the Green New Deal. The Dems loved it until they were forced to take a vote on it then they realized how crazy it was.
I think AOC is typical of her generation and she needs to back off a bit and let the adults in the room talk.

Smarter than the CD population? I mean thats setting the bar kind of low, and it certainly doesn't mean she is "smart" by any measure.

The Democratic Party acknowledges the reality of man-made climate change, not everyone will agree how to address the problem...but at least they take the issue seriously unlike the “adults in the room”, lol.
She says REALLY stupid stuff in the Media almost daily. People respond and comment which is their right. The Left gets upset, and claims the Right is "obsessed with her" because they just want to censor commentary because she embarrasses them and reveals the Left for what they are.
