Trump's response was to condemn the neo Nazis and white supremacists but leftwing hacks like you assert the exact opposite to race bait.
“I am not talking about neo-Nazis and white nationalist because they should be condemned totally,” Trump after Charlottesville
"They're very fine people, on both sides"….he said.
But now his attempt to cover up his true feelings has evolved again, as he said yesterday:
Quote:
He was referring only to people who wanted to preserve a statue of General Robert E. Lee when he declared that there were “very fine people on both sides” of the deadly 2017 alt-right riot in Charlottesville, President Trump said Friday.
The players were not even necessarily responsible for this decision. You are ignoring what took place in Charlottesville prior to them winning the national championship, as well as Trump's response to it. This decision was likely a collaboration of the coaches, players, and the school administration.
I guess UVA players and coaches make their decisions based on finger in the air Petitions.
It's shows a distinct lack of Class -- the White House doesn't belong to Donald Trump, he is upholding long traditions to invite Championship Teams into the People's House and they act like whiney little brats (Administration, Coach and Players) to resort (or give in to) a Hysterical Meltdown Mentality.
[i]In the days since the University of Virginia (UVA) men’s basketball team claimed the title of National Champions on April 8, a petition calling for them to celebrate "without hate" and refuse an invitation to visit President Donald Trump at the White House gathered thousands of signatures.
Lacey Kohlmoos, a UVA alumna and Care2 Organizing Strategist, told Newsweek she felt it was her “duty” as an alumna to use the tools she had available to “make this important statement.” The Care2 petition, created on April 10, had 10,850 of the 11,000-signature goal as of Tuesday morning. [/b]
He was talking about people who came to advocate their position on the statue peacefully and he had a comment for the group of people who were not peaceful, the neo nazis and the leftwing anti-fa who iniaited the violence.
It shouldn't offend a fair person that he recognized people's right to peacefully protest and express their views.
This isn't hard to understand if you are not a partisan liberal who calls anybody who isn't a leftist a racist.
Try to challenge yourself to go a month without calling somebody a racist.
It is crazy for you to continue to assert he said something racist given he literally condemned neo nazis and white supremacists.
The Clemson players didn't have a problem with it.
