Since we have so many conservatives rewriting history about the economy in 2008 and blaming Obama.. Why not have this go on too! Lets blame the war in Iraq that was a big failure on Democrats here! And Go!!!!!

Iraq surrendered to extremism long long before the war.
The United States liberated them from the Dictator Saddam Hussein
and after the U.S. left a force in place that force was inept at facing the Sunnis.
A high level of corruption within the military and with Maliki in charge,
the U.S. has little desire to get involved opting for Iraq to resolve its'
own political problems between the Shias and the Sunnis.

Pick your poison:
Shias terrorist groups are known to abduct for ransom while Sunni terrorist groups frequently abduct to kill.

Iraq was a bipartisan affair. It wasn't just the Democrats, but it certainly included them. For 10 years the D's pounded thew war drums & demanded the US enact "regime change" in Iraq. Hillary, Albright, Biden, all claimed Saddam had nukes! Al Gore called GHW Bush "soft on terror" for not attacking Baghdad. In typical D fashion, they were only against the war in Iraq, once Bush decided to do it.

Actually it was Bush/Cheney and their muckraking band of Zionist, Israel-first Neo-Cons who you can blame for the Iraq war.
