I'm not ridiculing them. I'm ridiculing those who push the narrative that everyone must go to college, or else. It is an act of brainwashing, indoctrinating, and manipulating people who usually don't know any better. This level of fear mongering is also destructive to this nation and social fabric, and has resulted in critical labor shortages in many important trades.

These anti American far leftist dopes deserve to be mocked and ridiculed for the damage they have done to this country, and we are just now starting to see the impact. When we get serious about trying to repair our out of date infrastructure, the damage will be much more difficult to ignore. The far left has worked tirelessly to lay waste to this nation, and they hurt our nation's most important asset, it's people.

You are far more likely to become severely injured/disabled in an automobile accident. But if I'm injured on the job, I can always collect disability, go to college, focus on my business, etc. There is no good reason not to pursue a trade, for those interested. Stop discouraging people and let them make up their own minds.

You called me a liar, simply because you don't approve of my message. You have no argument, so you attack the messenger. In a battle of wits, you arrive to the field unarmed.

College grads have more options over the course of their lives.

Non-grads not so much.

Which ones? The ones with skills/intelligence that's in demand? The ones with fraternity/sorority connections? Not all college grads are created equal.

Up to this point you agree with me, so far so good.

But this canard that somehow it's a liberal thing to push college on all of the young people is just plain nonsense. It goes across the whole culture. You made that up out of your own head for your own purposes.

True, but my point still stands: someday you may not be so invincible as you are now. Then what? If you become disabled, will you refuse SSI/SSD because those programs are for lazy liberal losers?

Do you realize how unhealthy and obese Americans are today? Just stop Tradesman are among the most fit and able body people I know. Sitting in a cubical all day is terrible for you health and well being. Plenty of studies have confirmed this. All the tradespeople in my family have made it to retirement, and most are pretty damn fit and strong. You are obviously talking about something you have little knowledge of. There is nothing that I do on the job that is overly strenuous, but I do have to physically work. There is nothing wrong with that.

Generations past were proud to work hard and prosper. I didn't realize our nation was in such a sad state of decline... Mentally and physically, yes, I knew we were going downhill, but I am surprised how bad our nation's attitude has become. Work avoidance is not a good thing, or a sign of a strong, healthy nation. God help this country if we ever have to defend ourselves. This current crop of wimps would surely lay down their arms, because fighting is hard work and you might get hurt...

Is this your definition of not ridiculing?

I think the damage is being done by those that refer to anyone that thinks differently than them as Anti American.

I mean, I know plenty of Republicans and Democrats that went to college because they felt that was the best choice for them.

As much as you want it to be, this isn't a left or right issue, however i do believe there are people like you that make every single topic of discussion a political issue.

Congrats on doing well in life, that's the American dream. We all want it, we just choose different paths to get it.

Some people deserve to be ridiculed, mocked and put in their place. I think you earned that right for calling me a liar, simply because you don't approve of my message, and my advice to young people seeking a good career. I worked too hard to achieve success in my life to turn the other cheek to jabronis.

Did I ever say I disproved your message? When did I say I was "jealous" of you, or of others? You've put A LOT of words in my mouth today. You deserve to be called out on your lies.
