Page 51 in Volume II of the Mueller report says the GRU, which is an intelligence arm of the Russian military, sent spearphishing emails to more than 120 email accounts used by Florida county officials responsible for overseeing the 2016 election.
The report goes on to say GRU actually gained access to at least one Florida county government network. The report does not say which county that was. That may have been in a redacted area.
Then Sen. Bill Nelson claimed Russia had influenced the election which then Gov. Rick Scott refuted and demanded Nelson to provide evidence.
Well, what else is new? Trump is selling real estate to Russians big time there - they run entire cities already (Sunny Isles Florida - is called Little Moscow). Trump even rents condos to Russian couples who want to have anchor babies...it's a whole program.
Florida is always for sale. It makes perfect sense that a foreign adversary would "attack" there first...
It's a state of 22 million people with a part-time legislature. Imagine....how busy they are hardening their networks?? I noticed this year many of the state web sites aren't even secure (https) even though Google has suggested it for YEARS now and even down ranks site which are not!
That gives you some idea right there (unfortunately, CD isn't secure either - but we don't vote here).
What is the Trump administration doing to fight against Russian interference in 2020? If 2020 is the same as 2016, Russians will again help Trump by attempting to hack the DNC and the democratic nominee.

This is just laughable. Please tell the forum how the POTUS are any person besides the user themselves can stop some dumbass from falling for a phishing email....Just using SSL for the sake of using it does nothing if there are no forms to enter a username or password. Even if states are NOT using SSL for such pages how does that become the responsibility of the POTUS or the Feds in general? Have you ever heard of State Sovereignty? It's THEIR responsibility.

I'm not sure what you are seeing that Mueller didn't see..
