I really believe the majority of American's feel that way, not simply his base or for that matter those opposed to him. The majority. Mueller has that kind of juice.
AG Barr said in his previous public testimony before the House Judiciary Committee that he is fine with Mueller testifying. In fact, if anyone stands in the way of Mueller testifying, it will be the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee. Watch and see.

Donald Trump, his aides, and Congressional republicans are terrified of Don McGhan testifying.

When asked directly whether he opposed Don McGhan testifying before Congress, Barr pretended that he didn't care, but left it wide open saying that Trump will be able to decide if he wants to claim executive privelege or not.

But seeing as how Trump says he's done nothing wrong and that the Mueller report completely exonerated him, I'm sure Donald will have no objection to McGhan testifying.

"If the President is being falsely accused, which the evidence now suggests the accusations against him were false and he knew they were false, and he felt that this investigation was unfair, propelled by his political opponents and was hampering his ability to government. That is not a corrupt motive for replacing an independent counsel," Barr said.

Mueller is not being silenced anyway. Inconvenient for the Dems

While as A.G. Barr confirmed the Mueller report is finished the investigation into how and why its was started is far from over. There are more investigations already started and more to come to answer those questions.
It will be interesting to see who can answer A.G. Barr's question or concern. Why did it take Mueller so long to finish his report when he knew there was no underlying crime and nothing to obstruct ?
