BILOXI, Miss — Authorities have arrested two brothers following the ambush-style killing of Biloxi Police Officer Robert McKeithen, who was shot to death outside a police station Sunday night.
Monday night, 19-year-old Darian T. Atkinson was smiling as he walked in handcuffs into the police station as a line of law enforcement officers and a large crowd of onlookers watched.
Atkinson was arrested in Wiggins, Mississippi less than 24 hours after McKeithen was shot, Biloxi Police Chief John Miller said. His brother, 21-year-old Davian Atkinson, was later charged with accessory after the fact in the investigation.
Let's hope MS has a death penalty-and an electric chair. Fry these *******.
I would live to hear what the heck this (I want to say kid but that is not the crime of a kid) 19 y/o was thinking. Usually there is some precipitating factor that lead to this type crime, why shoot a police officer who you have no involvement with. Just don't get it.
I read my post and realized that is sounds like I am sympathetic to the shooter, I am not. It's more of understanding the WHY. There may not be a why, we may never know.

Well, he's in cuffs and smiling so he may just have a screw loose and decided it was a good idea.
The serial killer murdering older white men in Kansas City was mentally ill to some degree, they caught him 2 years ago or so. But hey, you probably didn't hear about that one....*some types* of racially motivated serial killing isn't popular with the national news media for some reason.
