Pelosi made the accusation of perjury against A. G. Barr.
The DOJ responded with the statement that Pelosi is acting irresponsibly.
But its no act. She is irresponsible and failing in leadership skills.

The chairman wants the appearance of impeachment without the courage to actually have one.
In other words its a political stunt.
Now Pelosi is out accusing A.G. Barr of a crime. Apparently anyone who disagrees with the congressional democrats is guilty of a crime. It wasn't enough to make false allegation against the President. We now know Mueller couldn't prove any crime and didn't indict. So they go after anyone trying to get a conviction on more false allegations.
If Pelosi actually had a crime her duty is clear. She needs to send a criminal referral to the A.G.
Then the DOJ will decide what to do with it.

Nadler talks about holding A.G. Barr in contempt but it not for his refusal to appear today. Its for failing to provide a complete unredacted Mueller report. He is going to subpoena A.G. Barr asking him to break the law. Nadler is going to be crushed in court. The rulings on 6 E material guarantees another defeat for the loony left and Nadler.
The problem with that is that there is a "less redacted" version available for viewing and only 2 or 3 Republican legislators have bothered to go see it. The "less redacted report" was offered to 12 members of congress, six from each of the two political parties that have the clearance to see it. One would think that this would be the next step but...

It would be interesting to see Nadler explain to a judge why he didn't read the information he ask for but wants more information. For what purpose ? To not read it also ? It puts into question the good faith and reason for more.
House Judiciary Committee holds hearing without a witness, namely A.G. Barr. Congress appears dysfuncHouse Judiciary Committee & none more so then HJC.
Why have the hearing ? What is it all about ? Everyone's time is waisted as the chairman refuses to allow members to participate and adjourns the meeting.
There's a long precedent for holding such hearings.
Just prior to the outbreak of the American Revolution, the Virginia House of Burgesses in Williamsburg (then the capitol of the Virginia Colony) was abruptly closed by the governor, who was a royalist appointee and representative of King George III.
The banished burgesses decamped to the nearby Raleigh Tavern, where they continued their discussion.

At least no one was thrown out of the national Capitol today. If Barr continues to be recalcitrant, he will need to learn from King George III's example, or pay the consequences, as did King George III. As well as the then-governor of the Virginia Colony.

Show us the reference to your claim that Nadler did not read the redacted report.
