According to the article, it will only preserve 3,000 existing jobs.

It says nothing about new jobs being created.

Obama Admin increased tariffs on China’s steel by more than 500%.

One more time:

Deloitte Touché periodically surveys global CEO in a variety of sectors relative to future projections. It last surveyed global manufacturers in late 2015, well before there was certainty who would be nominated or elected in 2016. The survey concluded the US was positioned to reclaim the top spot in global manufacturing by 2020. This was attributed to unprecedented backorders for custom industrial robotics being sourced offshore, that were in the pipeline.

It did not necessarily mean, more jobs for US people. Technology substitution/ industrial robotics have eliminated more jobs that offshoring.

Assuming these conclusion are realized, no doubt that whomever was elected in 2016 would take full credit.

Either way it is still a plus and is showing U.S.S. is willing to stay in the area. Pittsburgh took a terrible beating in the late seventies with many of the mills closing and loss of thousands of jobs.

That's funny. Why didn't liberals whine and complain when Obama did so, like they did with Trump? Strange, huh?
