I sat with a hard-right character this morning and really don't understand why she said that? How could she not see that Trump has divided the Country much worse? You'd have to be blind not to see it, imo.

Obama divided the country. Rich/Poor; Black/White; Police/Victims.

Those who bought into the division are now outraged that Obama has been exposed. They preferred their victim status.

1. I don't regard anecdotal evidence as trustworthy.
2. Obama didn't divide the country. The people who used his race as an excuse to question his fitness to be President did.

It started long before Obama.

Jerry Falwell planted the seeds. Newt Gingrich watered them.

1. Supporting Black Lives Matter riots

2. Doing nothing over the race riots in Baltimore

3. Having many members of the Muslim Brotherhood in the White House

4. Intervening in local police matters that involved blacks, not whites

5. Supporting "Clock-med"- it turns out it was a scam

6. Support of sanctuary cities

7. Lack of enforcement of immigration laws

8. Ignoring traditional allies like Israel

9. Using "stimulus" funds predominantly in blue districts

10. Two far left Supreme Court Justices

11. Known Association with reverend Wright

12. Association with Farakhan and Sharpton- two vehement racists

the division of the country started back in the johnson era. it continued during the nixon adminstration when the media got wind of watergate. thats when the fangs really came out. it continued with ford, especially after ford pardoned nixon. and continued on through the carter, reagan, clinton, bush, and obama administrations. the left wing media has constantly been running down republicans giving them far more negative coverage than democrats get.
