Did anyone look at the actual mural? There are no slaves in the picture, but there is a big dead Indian on the ground and men with big guns standing over him. George looks like he's ordering the men to go out and find more Indians to shoot. Definitely too traumatizing for San Francisco.
Hmmm. The poor snowflakes and fruitcakes of San Francisco are traumatized by a mural that they had to walk past piles of human waste and needles to see.

People go to very violent movies, watch very violent tv shows, play violent video games and other things yet a picture from 1936 with an Indian laying on the ground is too traumatizing? How about stop staring at it, and if you don't like it, then ignore it. Why must these children throw a tantrum and want to ban things from everyone else. It is overly self important, and controlling.
These minority groups face far more serious problems, ones impacting on their daily lives, than a mural. I doubt anyone thought of this "issue" before being raised by activists interested in people being continually offended.
