The DNC is in it's "Game of Thrones" phase with 20 candidates.
Many of them, with virtually no hope (looking at you Warren) are being especially loud and extreme trying to get attention and keep alive.
The ones with plenty of establishment backing ($$$) like Biden can take a much more measured tone.
Frankly, this is normal and will tone down as people run out of money and drop out.
It will tone down even more when they win the primary and then start campaigning for the middle and not the left.
As such I don't see that the DNC is a train wreck seems like just like 2016 the establishment candidate is getting the inside track, makes you hope that they aren't screwing over some of the others. (again)
I assume that every candidate will vote for themselves. That fact, in itself, reveals some interesting questions.

A "Clown Car" is a good description of the current crop of Democrat candidates. Their policy positions are even more ridiculous. My state senator, a newly elected, first timer, woman Democrat has "Toxic Masculinity" as one of her main concerns to address. Now, how is she going to do that?

BOTH parties are a total train wreck, with nothing to offer the American people but more of the status quo: longer working hours for lower pay, more illegal immigration, skyrocketing healthcare, college, and housing costs, and an unstable boom-bust economy.
That’s because BOTH parties work for the people with the Big Money. They don’t represent US, they represent Big Money: Wall Street, Big Ag (which needs illegal immigration), Big Healthcare, the University-Industrial complex, the Military-Industrial complex, Big Tech, Big Real Estate, etc.
Back during the New Deal era, we had a country that worked for everyone (as long as they were white). But when the South defected to the Republicans in the 1970s and 80s in reaction to the Civil Rights movement, the New Deal ended. We are now back to the 1920s. Large segments of the Republican Party would like to turn the clock back further, to the late 1800s.
