Should US provide arms & LAW anti-tank weapons to people fighting heavily armed Maduro dictator & give them a fighting chance?

With all options on the table, this would be one of them.
It still avoids US direct military engagement of the hostile Maduro military.

Bad idea, that’d make Venezuela like Syria or Iraq, which didn’t work out well. Russians already there to match any escalations in a proxy war. Venezuela is backyard, unlike Mideast.

Oh yes, why of course, what could go wrong with handing weapons to civilians in another country who has an internal affairs crisis that is none of our business?

You do realize there are millions of civilians who supports Maduro, right? So arm some civilians to kill other civilians? Yea, great idea, but one I almost expect from the US now days.

How about this, it is their business, stay 100% out of it.

I'm going to remain open minded and explore the issue.

When we have open borders as we do currently. At what point do we defend ourselves and find what is happening in Venezuela today will have an impact on us in the future ?

I'm generally not in favor of helping any socialist/communist country. In Venezuela both sides are socialist.
On one hand Americans are being accused of being isolationist and on the other they are accused of interfering to much in the affairs of others. I wonder where the middle road is in all that.
So far it appears to me securing our borders is the middle road and the most important way to maintain our security and self interest. Other than that lets not invite in the Cuban or Russian military or let China investments control our infrastructure.

Direct military confrontation is not the discussion.

Providing arms is. They are not the same.

Remember all things are on the table but at some point someone is going to get hungry and select something on the table. What do the appetizers look like ? I like the potato skins, myself. Secure the F...… border looks like potato skins to me !!!
