Treating unwanted children as a punishment for having irresponsible sex primarily punishes the children.
Give the children up for adoption if you don't want to care for them. Don't snuff them out due to concerns for your convenience.

Better yet, buy a medical ship. Take it far enough offshore to be in international waters and no state can do a thing about it. Alabama would be a good place to dock it.

This is all fantastic for the ruling class, not so much for regular people.
This impacts mostly poor women, you can bet upper middle class women will just fly out of state.
It will be 6 months before it goes into effect and will be blocked in the courts long before, the lawyers will be paid handsomely by the state of Alabama. Maybe the voters who elect these complete fools will come to their senses.

Exactly! These forced-birthers talk about how stupid and irresponsible these people are, yet they want to force them to have a baby and raise it... And then complain about how stupid and irresponsible they were to get pregnant and have a baby, and cut aid to the mothers. Fact is, they don't care one little bit about the kid once it takes a breath. After that, they are nothing more than a leech to society who's mom should have kept her legs closed.

Hypocrites and idiots, every one of them.

It being blocked by the Courts as blatantly Unconstitutional will be sold to evangelicals as an example of judicial activism (emphasizing the need to appoint more judicial conservatives to the Court) and as a reason to support the GOP with votes and money. Its wildly transparent.

They won't, trust me. I live here. They are all far too stupid to elect someone who will actually help them. They are only worried about having someone with an "R" next to their name, not the actual issues (except for social issues that most of the country moved on from years ago).

You're right. It is designed to fail. That's why they made it so extreme. And the morons here in Alabama will eat it up.

So you don’t care if women die due to pregnancy or childbirth? That’s just tough luck for them. I think the family of any woman who dies in childbirth should be able to sue any state that denies her the right to control the risks she’s willing to take with her body by banning abortion. If they force her to take the risk, then they’re responsible for paying up for the outcome.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy says that Alabama’s new abortion law is too extreme.

Expect to hear that opinion a lot from Republicans running for re-election in predominantly urban districts with large numbers of college women, especially in blue states.

I don't support this kind of law - at all. However, it's not that huge of a deal at the end of the day - one can drive or fly to another state to have the abortion.
