It's the Fox News crowd - old, white and male. They're generally not equipped with a working definition of "racist" except as an insult. Logic doesn't enter into it, emotional validation does.

This was exactly my first thought. An SJW will make accusations towards people calling them "racists" for any reason, no matter how ludicrous, and yet here we have lefties getting all butthurt that D&S did the same.
The bigger question is: Why is this even news? Who cares what they say or how they interpret anything? They aren't even "hosts". I have to admire the hustle of those two young ladies. They've found a niche - feeding right into the Republican desire to be able to say "some of our best friends are black" - and it appears quite lucrative. They dress the part, overact how Republicans think black people act, and leave with a nice paycheck at the end of the day. Good on them.
