an asylum seeker who seeks status at US PoE is not in the same situation as an illegal immigrant who lives in US for decades and has established ties(family, job, career) in US.
the illegal who has ties in US will get his hearing with an IJ Judge due to the 1896 SC decision. DACA applicant is an example
an asylum seeker has no ties in US and their case will be reviewed by an asylum officer.

Of course you think it's crazy because it doesn't fit your left wing narrative. To my knowledge I've never seen that website linked to before. I just happened to see the headlines about this and the link to it. Bet there are other sources linking to it also. Now you want to talk about crazy.....The Huffington Post and some other left wing sites come to mind. The point is that this is something that Trump wants to try and it would expedite the processing of these thousands and thousands of mostly bogus asylum seekers that have crashed our border all at once and it would save us a lot of time and money.
I feel this way because I don't trust the Trump Administration to operate such a program in a fair and impartial manner.

I hope that this proposal becomes implemented. The vast majority of these so-called "asylum seekers" are bogus. If they were so afraid for their lives, then they would have taken Mexico up on their offer of asylum. We all know they want the US for all the freebies. Don't pretend otherwise.
