I believe that you should share your opinions and not opine on what other people believe.

The child is half hers too, she may not like to admit this, but its true.

I do agree that it SHOULD NOT even be possible for an 11 yr old to become pregnant in the first place, but there is no one I can blame that on.

First the rapist robs her of autonomy and choice, then the GOP gets right in line.

"Small government", never ever believe it.

There needs to be exceptions to the rule/law. It's inconceivable to me that a 12 yr old girl is forced to have a baby after being raped.

I'm a reluctant pro-choice type and abortion should be a last resort if possible type of approach, but this here is not acceptable to me.

Nice deflection. So, in your mind, it's ok to force an 11 year old to carry a baby to term and give birth no matter how harmful that is to the 11 year old?

Then do point to where I said anywhere that this was MY body.

What should be a CRIME is forcing an 11 year old child to carry her rapists baby to term. THAT is the crime.

You and yours have fixed it so that it's irrelevant what she wants. She has been denied even having a say in the matter. That's - sorta the point of the discussion, actually.

Anyway, where's janelle144? I'd have thought she'd be doing victory laps?

Since when are crime victims immune to the consequences of crime? For example, your home is burgled/robbed. Your insurance company gives you reduced value compensation for what was stolen. It is not enough to replace it.

In what world do you imagine that crime victims are given a choice of how they will be reimbursed or made whole again after the crime?
