Individual 1 is afraid he will lose this next election. He needs to run out the clock on the statute of limitations, otherwise, those indictments will come unsealed and he will be in a big hurt with no protection, the situation looks grim.

Trump supporters can't grasp the fact that warrants were issued and renewed by various judges, Trump, and his campaign had MANY contacts with Russian oligarchs and lied about it. Why can't his supporters justify over 200 plus contacts with Russia instead of contacting the FBI? I know why. They knew what they were doing was wrong. He tried to get away with it by obstructing evidence into his improper contacts and business ties. That's why he doesn't want Mueller or McGahn to testify. The IG may find something within the investigation was not handled appropriately.
The IG almost always finds something. But again all those contacts and lies about Russia including numerous indictments show there was more than enough reasons to justify opening an investigation into the corrupt president and his campaign that sought to benefit from Russian interference and Wikileaks.
Talking to Russians isn't a crime. The warrants were secured with a fake dossier of lies. You can deny it all you want but the people in DC know the truth. And regarding the judges signing off on the FISA warrants, something like 99% of requested FISA warrants are granted because it's a serious business and the judges trust the prosecutors to present a valid case. The judges were not told that the basis of the warrants were the Clinton fake opposition research (dossier) and there is no defense attorney. It's a secret court. So if the FBI wanted to go after it's political enemies, it would be easy to do it. That's why Chuck Schumer said if you go after the intelligence agencies, they have 'six ways to Sunday to get back at you'.
And lastly, the DOJ and the FBI were weaponized by the Obama administration to go after their political enemies. And now it's starting to come out that this was no isolated to the Trump investigation. It has gone back for years. We know they used the IRS to target conservative groups. So you can go around screaming your fake conspiracy outrage, but we are on to it now and it's not going away. Maybe you should expand your news media horizons. Even the NYT is starting to pick up this story.
And yet, if he suspended the election and stayed in power, HE would be the one guilty of a coup. I wonder if he could get his supreme court to approve it.
So some of the moderates who are really liberal/progressives. Willing to toss the great economy and historically low unemployment for Blacks, Women, and Hispanics?
Are you ever going to answer my question? What did Trump specifically do to CAUSE this great economy? Since he didn't cause it, it doesn't matter whether he is reelected or not. The economy will either be be good or it won't regardless of his weekend Mar-a-Lago vacations.
