China's growth rate is slowing, so it's a start. The thing that kills me, is while I agree that flaming rivers are never a good thing, we shouldn't be outsourcing all of our manufacturing to the dirtiest countries on the world either(using coal for power), and then ship it half way around the world. Its all the same planet after all. While all the black soot typically settles out in the area of consumption, the C02 produced goes up into the air all the same.
Yeah, right. Most of what we buy comes from China, the biggest manufacturing powerhouse in the world.
Yep. I've seen rapid success of small business owners who get products from China for dumb cheap. I think America hates China so much because China is winning. A country that doesn't produce for its people is a country marked for destruction.
You seem confused, you supported fantasy with fantasy, as if China's growth slowing means the US is somehow winning. Tell us how US taxpayers being forced to pay billion$ to bailout farmers hurt by Trump's ill-planned trade war is 'winning'?
And we're wise to Trump's 'deals', like going to Singapore and then claiming North Korea is no longer a nuclear threat which is pure BS, nothing else.
^^^^ This is true, sometimes. I work in manufacturing and we have seen a lot of success and a lot of fail through the vendors we deal with. Shortcuts taken with quality and toxic materials have caused recalls to the tune of millions and billions of $$$$$.
The thing is, we don't need to eliminate trade, just balance it. The game has been rigged for decades, with China charging large Tariffs for imports from the USA and other countries. As they amassed a fortune from the trade in-equality and high tariff's on OUR goods sold there, it was used to SUBSIDIZE their manufacturing to assure their money keeps coming. That's why for some things, the finished widget from China is cheaper than I can buy the metal to make it on my own in the USA. It's utterly broken that this has been allowed to happen, and I'm glad someone has finally stepped up and done something about it. We still have a long ways to go.
Trump is winning. China growth slowest in nearly 30 years.
That doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Trump. It could happen for any number of reasons, regardless of who is in the White House and what US policies are.

complaining about nk but ok with obama giving billions to Iran. Do you understand how absurd that is?
China's grow rate slowing is not 'winning.' Some people here know nothing about economics, it seems.
