Heck no. Mush is very good at driving focused projects, but he'd be horrible at having to run a country. What a lot of people don't seem to get is that once you're head of government, you spend most of your time reacting to outside events.

Musk has done amazing work in the space industry and made electric cars that are cool - not just cool electric cars, but cool cars, full stop. Aerospace and automotive are two of the most entrenched industries in the US, and he's done absurdly well. But there's no way he'd be able to drive the 200 items a President should address each day with that sort of focus, and he manifestly does not do well if he can't call the shots.

Bad idea.

Crony capitalist who benefits greatly from favorable legislation and everyones tax dollars. In other words he'd make a fine executive

Musk is a grifter and a hustler. He's made a ton of money, mostly from government subsidizing his failures, but Bernie Madoff and other grifters have made piles of money too.

If you choose to idolize him, that's cool, but being a freaking jerk to people who don't share your idolatry is low-rent.

Like I tell fanbois on game development forums - you can gobble that virtual knob all day long, but the devs aren't giving you any free lewtz. Elon will never know how much you love him, and he wouldn't care even if he did.

Whats scary is how obsessed you are with him. Do you know anything about the inner workings of Tesla? Cause I do, and from what I am hearing, its not good.
